Social marketing tips, bulk emails/facebook/twitter

I have ordered two sites, now they are ready. I see plenty of emails comes to my inbox from every site, with an email template, only 2 questions.
1. How people send bulk emails from home? Without buying Bulk email packs from vendors?
2. I saw many Facebook pages they were having 10 likes a month back now they have 10k likes. Any software Suggestions for emails/Facebook

Scrape emails from craigslist
get involved with like-for-likes if you NEED too (I don’t recommend it)
Be careful with your wording
Do mail-merge using Excel and Outlook with your own server to help you send out those emails, don’t make them spammy but make them clean and crisp.
Sometimes including videos helps.
Keep your social media sites up to date at least every day, even if no one is on there. Encourage shares by holding small give-aways, prizes, etc.
