Depends. For booting I’d get a 120 GB SSD
For storage I’d invest in a 3TB HDD as they are currently the most cost affective.

I currently have a 2x 2TB HDD, 4tb total so would not buy more at the moment. However, if I was to buy i would buy a SSD, as they are much faster read/write and less likely to breakdown. The only reason i am reluctant to buy them is due to their sizes are small and need to support upto Terbyte and then I would invest in them…
I would happily pay upto £180 for some HDD

Connect your drives to a enterprise grade raid controller like the hp p400 and make a RAID 6 array = win.

I would buy a 4TB HDD once and for all…(Western Digital Probably)
It would stay with me for the rest of my life and I will pass it along to my children one day.

Depends on what you want it for? If it’s just for storage the get this:

If U want it just for storage Purposes I suggest the 3TB external from JB hi fi

Internal I would suggest SSD 1-2 TB range

I got a 4 TB Hitachi and I only got 986 GB space left on it. Seagate is coming out with a 5 TB this year. The way things are going, I’m going to have to get that eventually.
