4GB Ram Enough ?
August 8th, 2013
Just wondering is 4GB DDR3 Ram enough or should i put another 2gb in it ?
I have 4G DDR2 and no complains so far, but I guess that is up with your needs.
If it wasn’t enough for you, you’d probably already know that by now
What do you do on your computer?
well ive played AC Revelations, BF3 and Skyrim quiet nicely with no problems so im guessing 4gb will be enough for me
Yeah, and besides, RAM isn’t the most important piece of hardware when it comes to games.
If you add more, make sure you are running a 64bit OS
4gbs is plenty (for now)
You shouldn’t add a ram stick if you run on dual/quad channel, as it will only slow the performance down.
4GB Is Enough.
If Your Having Problems With Games, May Want To Look Into A Better Processor
Upgrade later, as of now 4gb is good enough for playing games, applications.
well i have an i3 processor 4 cpu’s 3.07ghz atm
thinking of upgrading ram and to an i7 next year thats if my mother board will take it
4gb is pretty sufficient
but if ur a gamer then for games to run more smoothly a graphic card or processor upgrade should do the trick
people say my graphics card sucks but i personally think its great, it aint failed me yet
Ge Force GTS 250 2708mb

It’s not 2708mb, my Hd 6870 is 1gb, yet windows says it is 2.8gbs. No GTS 250 version comes with 2.7gbs.
You’re graphics card doesn’t suck, but it certainly isn’t good (it’s sub-par).
Just because it hasn’t failed you doesn’t make it great.

If it suits your needs, you don’t have to worry about anything.
It depends on what you use your computer for, i have 8GB on my PC, and 4GB on my macbook, for now there is no need to take more than 4GB…
