Music: Is there any software which does this?

Is there any software which will scan your itunes library (or computer) and tell you of albums released by artists in your library which you don’t have?

I think the reason no one has responded is because there just isn’t anything out there that performs the task you are asking about. At least not that I’m aware of. I’m deeply involved with many Internet Radio Stations as their hosting provider and even have ran my own station in the past. Dealt a lot with tagging, converting and DJ broadcasting software but nothing that tells you missing albums of artists in your library. In fact, most of the DJs I know simply use google and/or billboard top 100 website to search for new artists and songs.

Google+ seems to have that ability if you sync any other device through it…It then seems to send you recommendations to buy…after it did it the first time for me I turned it off as it is snooping your machine.

Think you’re looking for iTunes Genius….it’ll give you recommendations based on the music in your iTunes library
