Advice for a new hdd for ps3

I noticed that the external hdd from my ps3 is not working 100% anymore.
So i would like to buy a new one.
Can anyone tell me what the best buy / fastest Hdd is @ the moment.
I mostly used it for playing backups.
Advice for an internal hdd is allso welcome.
I still have the FAT model.
