August 4th, 2016
I’ll attach some screenshots so you guys could see the difference (compare it to yours).

Has anyone experienced something like this before?
I did Google this, of course. I tried some suggestions but none worked. Only one, where it suggests to replace the whole Font folder with “uncorrupted” one, I haven’t tried as I cannot find the default Font folder anywhere.
Any help on how to restore it do default is greatly appreciated.
unless chrome just updated itself like mine did and changed it like it did mine

Maybe it did auto-update, I’m not sure. The change was sudden and unexpected. I’ve also tried replacing all fonts with Windows 7 default font folder, but nothing has changed. (link below)

Yes Google up and changed your fonts through an update that started to be pushed on August 28. To change the fonts:

So it’s Google’s doing… Thank you for clarifying that.
Anyway, that link doesn’t show how to change everything back to how it was (or I missed that somehow). I’d like to use pre-patch font settings if possible (regarding that – does anyone know default font settings for Chrome?). I tried changing settings in Chrome to some random font but it won’t show those changes at all.
If you keep digging out in the links, it eventually gets to changing font / font size; however, it doesn’t help you in what were they in the first place.
I did a quick google and found:
DEFAULT FONT, ENCODING, AND LANGUAGE
Serif Font: Times New Roman, 16 point
Sans-Serif Font: Arial, 16 point
Fixed-Width Font: Courier New, 13 point
Default Encoding: Western (ISO-8859-1)
Defaualt Language: English (US)
I’m not sure for what version this was for and what version you had.

Thank you for replying.
Those are the same settings I’ve found and tried earlier but without success. Nothing has changed.
I have had this problem for a few days now, i was thinking it might’ve been something I installed
Now, to get this crap back the way it was

Yeah, same here. At first I thought that it was something I had installed recently.
If you manage to get everything back to how it was, please let me know.
