Getting started with a new laptop

so I just got a laptop from ASUS G53SX, and I guess it’s going to be riddled with softwares not really usefull and impairing performances such as maintenance and so called performance tools.
Is it true?
And should I do a fresh intallation of the OS (win7) with a formating beforehand.?
Or am I a bit over zealous and should take it as it comes?
Definetly do a fresh install they always come preinstalled with so much bloatware its quicker to reformat and install it. and it should run a lot quicker as well.
Yep do a clean install of Windows 7. I did as soon as I got mine.
