Vista Problem

August 25th, 2022

Hi Guys My laptop was sent back to factory settings yesterday and all the updates have been installed. It was running fine and installed VCL Media player & TVersity. Now i’m trying to install Freemake video converter and it won’t start the installer. I tried another make and when i click the installer that won’t launch either. Any idea what could be wrong when it’s installed the other programs?
Answer #1
Right click and try to run the setup file as Administrator..
Answer #2
That didn’t work.
I’ve just downloaded other stuff and they’ve installed. It seems to be only Freemake and Burnaware that won’t. Shame because Freemake was the one i liked using.
Thanks for the reply, .

Open task manager and double click the .exe, what happens? Does the installer even start? Did you try waiting a few minutes?
Answer #4
It was some security that was blocking it. I’ve got it installed now. Cheers guys.
Answer #5
I hope you did a custom install of Freemake…or you will get filled full of crapware..
Maybe your security is trying to protect you
