Why dont download the video of the youtube page of it? will you want that i make a video tutorial?
@wo_Ot? – Please re-read my original message. I politely requested that you not assume you had the answer unless you had downloaded a HD video from VEVO today. You didn’t do that, so the only one being a “~censored~ prick!” is YOU.
XSilent(X) – Do you understand the English language? If so, please re-read my original message. FYI, downloading VEVO videos from YouTube is NOT the same as downloading them directly from VEVO … the quality is much less on YouTube than VEVO. I believe this is a recent change, which is why I requested that you not assume to have an answer unless you had downloaded directly from VEVO today!

wait il gone give it a try with something! I live in Belgium so the website is locked her.
Works fine here using IDM… you might get more help if you were a little more polite though!
<Loud> Please explain how you use IDM to download videos directly from VEVO. Funny how others perceive “polite”. I requested that people not waste my time unless they actually had a workable and current answer to the problem. None of you have and in my book that is, among other things, impolite as well as very rude.

lionden – With all due respect, shouldn’t this rule apply to everyone? I clearly requested that people not respond unless they had a proven method to successfully accomplish this task, AND that they had done it as of “today”. Absolutely none of these people honored that request and not one know what they are talking about! So, please tell me how that is showing me respect? It is doubtful that you (or anyone for that matter), wouldn’t have responded to these time wasters in a more kind manner.

no problem

i capture this video into mkv file which is 18.6MB
Internet Download Manager.
VERY easy to use.
Click the video that you want, when it starts to play, a little blue box appears saying “DOWNLOAD WITH IDM” … Click that = WIN !
Ashleyuk1984 – That no longer works … which is why I said, “that you have successfully tried today”. The download will start per normal using IDM but quits very quickly.
vevo site there hd videos are a lot better then youtube because they use x264 and a good bitrate but hate how you can choose the format you what like youtube and it just plays what your internet can handle

It does work. I tried last night – for you… and I’m downloading ANOTHER video right now.
It must be your configuration.
It works perfectly for me.
You do have the latest version of IDM installed right ???
If so, then I have no idea what your problem is.
Screenshot of my downloaded video.

That’s very interesting, perhaps you would be kind enough to explain just how and where IDM saves an incomplete file? I have been using IDM from its inception and it has never saved an incomplete download file ever.

Yes, of course, I am using the latest version (6.08, build 9 from January 26, 2012) and I have been using IDM from its very first release. I am sorry to say that your screenshot from VLC does not prove this file was downloaded with IDM or better yet exactly when (the date) it was downloaded. I mention this because, as I’ve stated previously, until recently IDM could, in fact, be used to download videos from Vevo. However, since the material on Vevo from professional artists is copyrighted, changes have been made to prevent this.
So, perhaps you would be kind enough to provide a screenshot of your IDM log showing a completed video file from Vevo. Might I suggest that the video file should be “Leona Lewis’ “Unhappy”. This would be most helpful. Thanks. By the way, what country do you live in?
