Thanks
Well to play it on a stick you should not have to convert it to dvd…
What are you trying to play it on and what is original format of the movie ?
To watch it on a computer from a USB
Add the movie file to ConvertX and let it convert to DVD
When its time to the burn just don’t insert a disk, stop the process.
Go to the output folder (wherever that is, default is in video folder I think)
Open vlc and direct it to the movie folder, then to the “VIDEO_TS” folder, then open VIDEO_TS.IFO with VLC
To watch it on a TV if the TV has a USB input, like said, best not to convert it to DVD, TV should be able to open mp4 file so convert it with another encoder to mp4
Also you may be able to play the DVD .vob files or they may play if you change their file extension to .mpg !
I know just to put it on a stick but had to convert to add sub titles.
If you have a .srt subtitle file and you rename it to the same name as the movie file
your player should pick it up and use it OK…This applies to PC players, stand alone and TV players.
