Try viewing the task manager.

ok i went through task manager > processes and find that it was adobe_flash_player.exe I close it and it goes but it comes back as soon as i open a browser it comes back.
Not sure if anyone has a solution or should i reinstall windows 7 or update to win10 to see if its fixes it.
Answer #3
when did this appear as it seems i have the same problem on win 10 and mine just appeared last few days.
here is my post – do a search see if u got same files on your computer
https://www..org/viewtopic.php?t=22241593
also do a search on your computer for the adobe flash file exe
when i get the location and right click to go to its location – nothing is there – Even with show hidden files on.
mine has progressed to same as yours LOL

thanks for the input , glad im not the only one getting this.
I feel like reinstalling windows over again as i use alt tab constantly and this stops me from changing between two programs. For me this appears weeks ago i had a program and only a few days ago i started digging into why it was and found out about adobe flash causing it.
remove the task from taskbar seems to be the only solution for me but as i cant install nvidia graphics card drivers after last update or remove this i am going to backup all my items and format my drive and reinstall windows 7 from scratch.

mine disapeared after i found all instances of it on my comp and removed them.
I still had the icon like u
I installed Reason core security (google – 30 days free use)
and it removed it.
But how did we get it – should be the question – Did u install any adobe apps ??? The last major apps i installed was the Adobe CC 2015 Suite

r u sure that it is legit flash player ? can you find the .exe for that process , then right click on it then properties , can you see a digital signature tab at there ?
use this
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896653
advanced task manager which will make things easy for you , just extract , right click and run it as administrator(important) , you can find the exact location of file by hovering your mouse over the process.
edit : i looked that topic of where he already did what i ve asked , that flash exe is malicious file. all adobe exes should have digital signature where there was none in ‘s case. not even mentioning “abobe” thing on description

i am not sure how it got it, i think it was off some website that kept saying my flash was out of date and i may of incidentally click update on that when trying to close them.
Not sure why adblock didnt stop the page i was on.
So may of had a fake flash player installed that was causing the problems. Too late to install reason core security, i just format my drive and now installing everything again, will take a few days to get back to normal again but now i can work on my pc .

This certainly doesn’t help but I feel compelled to reply,
I have been using the various forms of Acronis True Image precisely for this reason(s). By doing a brief (15 to 20 minutes for me) image backup when all things are running tight in periodic stages, the basic install with all updates and my “comfortable” series of programs installed, maybe one a few weeks later when I discovered I really needed or wanted yet another program and found that it was a good fit with all the others installed thus far and so on.
When I find I may have downloaded a bad thing or tried to install a new program I was curious about only to find that it wreaked havoc I could return to the spot I want to be in and it takes 15 to 20 minutes.
I back up all my docs and other assorted bits I feel like I want to keep for a while and then when the image is installed I put what I want back in and I am up and running. I know there are others out there that do the same but Acronis has done it for me for quite a number of years. Just a suggestion and you don not have to end up faced with the 200 updates for windows that have come out since the OS was issued or the reinstall of all those various programs that they themselves need updates on.

so acronis True image to back everything up the problem is – how do u restore using it – do u have to install windows then install true image to install your backup again ?
