I m having unknow sms

i m having sms from some unknown number ( 504-221-1) . when i open it name comes like “monicasharma777” .
i m wondering , somebody is smsing through net or something ?
i m using iphone 4g ….
any idea from where these sms coming from ? any website ? i live in india ….

Yeah, probably is someone using some web service to send SMS…. Nothing new…
BTW it’s iPhone 4 (there is no iPhone 4G)…. FYI!

you would have to ring up your service provider and ask them to track it.
In my experience, you have to have a pretty good reason to do so,
alternatively you can ask your service provider to block that number (for a fee, usually)
or you can download a call blocking app for your iPhone (I own an android phone, so I can’t help you there)

If you report it to the local police, yes they will track it. You can even report it to the phone company and they might track and/or block the number from reaching you.
Dont think about trying any CIA stuff, it wont work unless you get your hands on thousands of dollars worth of equipment
