Software to burn multiple videos on DVD?

October 18th, 2013

Hey
I’m trying to burn family guy episodes on a DVD for my brother. I’m using Nero Express 9 right now, but it’s only letting me use normal 800mb/70 min CDs.
Which software allows me to burn many episodes onto a single DVD that would play on a DVD player?
Thanks

ConvertXtoDVD will do this.

Not sure if I’m doing this right. I selected all the episodes I wanted, and clicked on Convert. Now it’s encoding or something. What do I do next?

Just wait till it’s done encoding. After it’s done encoding, it will burn the episodes to the disc you have in your DVD burner tray.

How can I tell if the files are beyond the DVD limit? like if it’s 4.3 GB, how can I tell if the size of the files are beyond that? Or if it goes by minutes etc ?

It’s actually “transcoding” not encoding, and there is a setting on convertxtodvd as to the output size – it should however automatically detect the size of the disc.
The more files you put onto a dvd this way, the more you will lose quality wise. 5-6 hours worth is about the best before losing quality.
If his dvd player will play XviD/DivX, you can burn the files to a data disc.

Nero Burning ROM -> New Compilation -> DVD -> DVD-ROM (ISO) -> (Set The Options On The Tabs) -> New -> (In The Selection Screen Select Files That You Want To Burn – Drag And Drop From Right Column To Left Column) -> Burn Now
