Need help with MeGUI

questions on the latest version:
1) how do i import encoder settings if i missed the opportunity being asked after finishing the update
2) i can’t get it to recignise the Nero AAC Codec, help.

That won’t help him if he didn’t back them up before he installed the new version.
I never bother with the MeGUI export/import. I just close MeGUI and copy the profile into the x264 profile folder and then restart MeGUI. It then picks up the profile. Note however that the old profile might not be compatible with the new MeGUI and x264 encoder!
It will probably be different on Win 7 because Win 7 doesn’t store program settings in the program folder. Search for allprofiles on your system to find it, there should be a x264 folder inside the allprofiles folder.

it never aksed me to install it, after i downloaded it was a zip file with a portable version in it
