Latex app for windows, + help about writing in tex

hello,
i need to write in tex ( like in linux) , but i do not have linux installed. is there an app that allows me to write in tex in windows and view the output.
also, when i write on linux computers, the codes work, however, pictures do not seem to be displayed when i use them. can you help by providing to correct codes to insert a pictures in a document written in tex.
also, i cannot find a copy of slax internet. see if you can help

From the top of my head.
Bakoma, Lyx, Inlage, Texnic. Bakoma is pretty good it gives you instant preview of everything you do and makes learning easy but it’s not free.
