Ok, Well i just moved all my wordpress files back into the public html folder on my ftp. It was in a folder called “wp”. Now that i have moved it, it looks fine but when you go to click a link it wont work because it looks for the wp folder. How do i fix the linking? thanks
Answer #1
Go to the SQL table, and set the script root to the new folder… The table should be named config, or something similar..

i can’t find anything called config or anything like that?
Answer #3
umm…. Leme check for you..
Check the wp_options table, if it shows any local folder URLs..
Also, try a SQL search for your original folder “/wp”

Hmm getting there i changed the “siteurl” but that didn’t seem to do anything?
Answer #5
hmm… leme import a database, and see where it saves it to…
Ok, in the database:
wp_options change:
siteurl
home
uploadpath
you should just remove the \wp part of the URL’s..
Then in the wp_links table, change any of the columns that are localURL’s.. Remove the \wp part..
Tell me if this works.
