WinRar all CRC fail

August 5th, 2016

On every download I do, the CRC’s are always failed. I always get the error message the files are corrupt, even if I download something else or mirrors or anything…
What can I do to resolve this?
Thanks in advance

Try to download and install the newest version of WinRAR. You can also try to check the “Keep broken files” option when you have the extract dialog open.

You should try downloading with a different DL manager or browser.

@ Not trying to be rude but i honestly don’t see how that’s helpful,With that option it’ll extract it ignoring the corruption,But that does not resolve the issue
one bit,The files are still corrupted hence the extracted files will be too.

The problem is, every download I make is corrupted. I use Mozilla Firefox, should I reinstall it? Because I’m not comfortable using Internet Explorer. And I’ll try the keep broken files option, because it is not possible every download I make is corrupt…

As said^ this will not help you and it’s very possible! Bad RAM/HDD can easily
cause all round file corruption. Try downloading using IE,Or via a download manager,If that fails have your RAM checked out,Follow this guide:

You are not rude at all It is a temporary solution so could maybe save a little bandwidth being able to extract some files. If it was a registry error and the case of WinRAR just thinking the files were corrupt it would be a waste not to try it.
@
You do not have a different harddisk by any chance that you can try and download a new set of files on and extract ?
BTW it does not hurt to leave a “thank you”

how many files are you downloading at the same time if more than 1 i had same problem just download 1 file at a time fixed it for me

Indeed it doesn’t hurt, I am thanking everybody who’s willing to help me out. I managed to use some files that are extracted with the ‘keep broken files’ option. They seem to work smoothlessly. So, I’m thinking it’s always giving the CRC fail error without a real reason. What shoul I do?
Using a differtent hard disk doesn’t seem to solve it, as proposed.
kind,
