Samsung and ADATA.. You pay for the brandname sometimes, and sometimes, it makes all the difference.

Its worth spending extra for the Samsung SSD. My EVO’s benchmark higher but in day to day use you don’t notice the difference.

To most people Adata sounds like a small brand. Their SSD’s are pretty average.
Their problem is similar to Kingston, they can’t make their own controllers and often resorting to using Sandforce.
You see OCZ went Sandforce and how did they end up, they had too many products and reliability was a problem, people hate that.

Sandforce used to be the best controller, but they have been superseded by others now.
