Whats wrong with this vista premium! *help*

Ok, so as you know i just got vista, because my dads new comp had it built in, it had Media Center & a load of very cool games like “Chess Titans” so i thought meh i will install it (found working links and installed).
First things first:
Where is my media center??? its on my dads but NOT ON MINE!
No games??? i googled it aparently i need to allow the games, i went to the place it told me, no games folder to activate them!!! i mean come on, no media center AND built in games…even though the description on the WBB Post said it did have them…i am at the final straw with this vista now, i want to just remove it and SOMEHOW get my old Media Center back, how??? or tell me how to get the 2 above please!.
i have read all over google that you “cant downgrade vista” and “your totally screwed” but of course they dident see the awesomeness of WBB did they, if anyone can help me they is a Rapidshare (1 month) account in it for you. thanks.
i have Windows Vista Home Premium and just want my old Media Center back…

go onto the start menu and search in the box “media” it should show up, if not just get vista ultimate and upgrade

ok so i found it but now when i try to run media center it comes up with:
Media center need .NET FRAMEWORK 1.1 or more to run”, i downloaded it and it says my system already has it, WTF HELP.

perhaps format and try another better install of vista? perhaps from here:

thats the thing, it wont update.

Downgrading simply means to format and install XP instead.
Or then just format and install another Vista, like Ultimate.
