Whats the best download site source ive always used RS.com

im seeing alot of changes in the sites people choose to upload to. is there better sites and also if theres a new number 1 what is it. i want to open up an account but need to know the best for the money and all around downloading.

From what I’ve been seeing it looks like Hotfile and Fileserve are dominating right now.
There is plenty of threads on this though, might want to search a bit.
But what I do is I just use Jdownloader + megaupload as a free user, I get good speeds almost all the time.
IMO why pay for pirating things?

Errrr…I dont normally browse the app section too much anymore since I started torrenting because my RS acct expired. But, from all the other topics I’ve read asking same question as you, HF –> MU –> FS are the top dogs now.

fileserve, as it is faster, hotfile has a lot of complaints about its premium speeds.

I have many problems with combination of Jdownloader and rapidshare these days… It won`t star downloading, just keep saying “file temperarly unavailable”. I don`t remember when I last time dovnloaded something via RS. Is there a cure, or the solution is buying pro-acc?

I was having the same problem with megaupload. Tried with a premium and the problem solved himself, but i don’t know if the problem will be fixed for you too.

If you have a premium RS account and can’t download via Jd,you should activated Direct Downloads in RS options.

Just a heads-up, i saw a couple of folks around here complaining about Hotfile giving them terrible speeds at peak hours. They also claimed that the support/service for Hotfile is horrible. Tread cautiously!

Personally speaking, I try to use MegaUpload or MediaFire. Rapidshare works in a pinch as well, but I avoid HotFile like the plague. I use almost anything else though. There are lots of different services and yet I rarely see many of them being used. I stick to sites which provide me with good speeds without being restrictive to Free users. HotFile is becoming increasingly common, which is disappointing for me seeing as I receive horrible speeds there. MegaUpload is my preference seeing as you can download a decent amount as a Free User, and it’s all relatively fast.
