What is an Untouched Scene Release?

October 26th, 2019

Can someone please tell me what an untouched scene release is? I see this online but I have no idea what it is? Is it better than something that is not untouched scene release? Not knowing is driving me nuts!
Answer #1
Untouched, original rips, without modifications or anything else…
Answer #2
You should download untouched releases bcoz it’s better.
Answer #3
You should download untouched releases bcoz it's better.
You clearly have no idea what you’re talking about.
OP: An untouched scene release means you’re downloading the archive exactly as it was packed by the group. No files have been added to it and it hasn’t been repacked. Untouched or repacked is irrelevant…you’re still going to get the same content.

Well, isn’t it better if you download archives directly packed by the scene.you can guarantee they will work.

Untouched means: original .rar files + the .sfv file + the .nfo file
If it’s a movie, there are generally subs and a sample
Answer #6
In Games…The benefit in downloading a scene release is if you have a corrupt or missing part…You can download the part from any other topic and you won’t haver a problem extracting…

Okay, I’m still a little hazy on the lingo what is a “scene?” Also, am I to understand that sometimes someone might take the original archive files and do something to them and the “repack” them and share them online? Finally, are you saying that if I have a missing or corrupt part in the scene release files that I could download that part from anyone else who has uploaded it to the internet regardless of whether it was the original files or not? And thank you guys for responding so quickly! I really wasn’t certain if anybody would respond at all so THANK YOU!

Yes mate…Not only you can download the file from any topic but from anywhere on the net…And you won’t have a problem…
Just make sure the filename is identical…And the file size if possible…
