Volume Control keyboard shortcut on Windows 7

October 28th, 2013

Hello.
Is it possible to control the master volume with some keyboard shortcut? I would prefer it to be without a use of some additional software. But if it isn’t possible then the software should be pretty light-weight and not consume a lot of CPU/RAM.
Thank you for your help.
PS: I DON’T intend to buy a multimedia keyboard for that.

Answer #1
Can’t you just use the volume icon in the taskbar ?
Answer #2
I use this since my Deck doesn’t have media keys.

That is what I always do. But when I’m gaming and the volume is too high/low then I hate to go into in-game options or exit out to the taskbar. A keyboard shortcut will be very VERY handy in such situations.

Thanks. How much CPU and memory does it consume? And can I customize my own hotkey for it? And I hope it works on Windows 7 x64 and is clean (no malware).

Why do you even bother looking at the amount of CPU and memory an app uses? This isn’t 2004.
And can I customize my own hotkey for it?Yes. Did you even bother clicking on the link I posted? Guess not.
And I hope it works on Windows 7 x64 and is clean (no malware)
Why do you ask so many questions?

Because this is for an old system of around 2004 I guess. P4 with 1GB DDR1 RAM!

Because I didn’t have an XP ISO and was too lazy to download and buy and burn a disk and thought about giving Win 7 x64 a shot and since it worked pretty smooth (yeah, it REALLY did) with Aero DISABLED so I decided to keep it.
Anyways, I’ll give 3RVX a shot. Thanks.
