Answer #1
Yes..You can add it by resizing the main partition and adding the free space to it..
Or you can create a new partition with the free space…
It’s easier if you use one of the Partition Tools like Acronis Disk Director..
Answer #2
Acronis Disk Director dosnt support windows 8 and a version for it isnt even planned. Use Paragon hard disk manager 12 server
Answer #3
If you grab one of the partition tool boot discs you can boot to it and resize and add, etc, from inside the boot disc environment.
Then just reboot and your space is there.
Answer #4
do it in Computer Management > Disk Management.
in Win 8 press search for Run. In Run type compmgmt.msc and hit enter. select Disk Management and Extend the used partition into the free space.
Answer #5
It’s never a good idea to resize Windows partition in Windows..
After a restart it can all go wrong..
As suggested..BootCD…
Answer #6
Probably the most …unwieldy solution, but you can also borrow Windows 7, install it as a partition so you can do your thing with Acronis, then take it off when you’re done through Windows 8.
