Reccomend me other pc’s for under $1000 here’s what I’m using it for.
Basically I’m not going to do things like update it myself change graphics cards ect. I’m mainly looking at this pc to play new generation games like Crysis Crysis Warhead, Far Cry 2 and such on the high or medium setting. Is this pc capable of that?
EDIT: forgot to add must be from best buy or circuit city and must be close to the zip “95363”

build your own, and you’ll be guaranteed parts that last.
mobo = 200 (sli)
processor = 180 (quadcore)
mem = 100 (4gb)
hdd x 2 (raid 0) = 60 x 2 (500gb x 2)
video = 120 x 2 (ati x 2)
psu = 150 (1kw)
cd/dvdrw = 40
fans, ect. = 50
case = 50
keyboard = use old
mouse = use old
monitor use old
total: 1130

Sorry mate, I can’t parents don’t trust online sites :/
Answer #3
don’t have to buy it online.
electronic stores always have sales on those types of components.
Answer #4
Hmm, I’ll look into that mate I assume they will put it together for me for a small fee? although ~1100 is out of my price range, could you reccomend a build for ~900-1000?
Answer #5
If you want to play new games you either custom build or forget about it altogether. I can round up some parts for you
Answer #6
You’ll get ripped off if you don’t buy over the internet. Newegg and tigerdirect are both as reputable if not moreso than national chain electronic stores.
Answer #7
Take a E8400 ATI HD4850/4870 (which ever suits ur price)
MSI Neo-F P45 Mobo
500 GB SATA
17″ LCD Acer X173
2×2 GB of Corsair at 800 MHZ
22x Samsung DL layer Writer
I think all this should be be under 800 $ , then u can buy power supply , mouse , keyboard .. etc…..

why do you think this? i just got a pre-built rig for under $600 USD (including a 22″ monitor), and its specs are high enough to play anything out there today at a reasonable resolution. and i’m in central europe, i would have paid even less for it in the US…

i made an assumption, the only game i got so far is Spore which can play on anything. when Bioshock finishes downloading i will let you know how it goes.
