Surround 5.1 help

Hey am going to buy the HMT-Z1 when it comes to EU.
And then use it to play on my pc :]
But the thing is that the HMT-Z1 comes with 5.1 surround sound and it uses HDMI cables to connect.
So my question is, can i get the 5.1 surround sound if im using it on my pc also it’s going to connect to my graphics card which is a gainward gtx570.
(And no am not going to change my mind too not buying it)

As long as your graphics card has HDMI output and you select the HD sound from that , it should be OK.
If you have a TV with HDMI input, you could check it with that , to make sure you get sound OK.
Just make sure that your gtx570 has sound drivers installed, then set it to 5.1 mode, and make it the default sound “card” , under Sounds > Playback Devices, when you want to use it on your headset.
