Some program like visual basic

My 7 years old son is interested for my not understanding reason, for some program like visual basic for making programs as I understand.It is a little be funny that he is interested in that.But can u guys help me to find some easy program for him? Sorry for bad english. Thanks in the advance..

Free .. but maybe a bit advanced for a 7 year old.

Visual basic is an environment as well as being a programming language.
what i said is that he can also -look- at Eclipse and see for himself if the program suits him or not, as he did not give exact information.

To learn to program you need more than an IDE – you need a compiler and eclipse definitely is not that!
And we are talking about a 7 y/o beginning their programming journey – popping between IDE and compiler etc. doesn’t exactly fit into the “learning” category.
Anyhow
