[SOLVED]Blue Screen of Death

Recently,I keep getting Blue Screen of Death.
I do not know why.
I am currently using Windows XP Service Pack 3.
What should I do to get rid of Blue Screen of Death?

i blue screen sometimes when im impatient it does neccessarily mean your pc is messed up it just means windows has encountered a fatal error

None of this helps…..If you ask me to keep restarting…and it happens once in every 5 mins….you must be out of your mind.

Run some hardware diagnostic tools like MemTest and your hard drive manufacturers hard drive diagnostic utility.

My hard disk manufacturer did not include any hard drive diagnostic utility.

is there a specific fault indication, like where it went wrong?windows did not say anything…i did a full scan with kaspersky and diskeeper premier but found no errors….do you think reformatting my computer will help?

sometimes resetting the bios helps. you can remove the battery, clear cmos via jumpers (or short circuit +/-)

if you plan to format don’t forget to change the boot sequence to cd/dvd-rom first as resetting the bios sets it back to default (hdd/floppy as 1st device). and also adjust the system date and time.

reformatting is simple and effective… if that doesn’t do the the trick then i would advise you to look it over for any heat damage, and if anything is damaged replace it also making sure its compatible with you machine

Do have any idea which part of my computer has overheated??
Like the common ones…and how do I know that specific part has been overheated?

What bsod Message Are You Getting?? When The Dreaded Blue Screen Of Death Comes Up Hit The Pause Button On Your PC And Write Down The Error Code!!! And Then Hopefully You Can Determine The Fault!!

I reformatted my computer and changed my hard disk as it is causing the problem.
So problem solved
