Seagate is not a good one.it has poor customer support and Faulty HDD’s Go For samsung or WD caviar

since when does that make any different at all. it’s completely negligible. Samsung Spinpoint F3s are extremely good, and since they're end of life products you can pick them up cheaply.
discontinued product with old sata2, not a good choice anymore (sure was one time). Not true about seageate, biased opinion and one of those you can find just about any brand there is. ST1000DM003 is a very popular and very good choice, alternatively WD10EZEX if you’d rather get a WD.
