[Solved] DVD plays sound in WMP but wont show image

Hey there, I have an old P4 computer which I would like to use to play dvd`s (dvd`s which aren’t movie`s, so I need to be able to access the side menu so that I can skip around)
I can play the dvd without much issue using the Real alternative media player,
But as far as I’m aware, the Alternative player does not have the side menu which I need. WMP has this, but when I try to use the Windows media player, the sound of the dvd plays, but the monitor stays blank.
I have CCCP installed (Combined Community Codec Pack) I have XP SP2
Real player alternative (the player that works, but has no side menu)
can anyone please help me solve this issue of the blank screen in WMP.
I would prefer to not install any more media players.

try downloading K-lite or gordion knot for more codecs for wmp

Ah yes…..
Luckily I already have K-lite mega pack in my install folder… I guess it wont hurt to give it a try, thanks.
Edit: that didn’t work, In fact it seems to work worse than CCCP does.
.. I’m going to just try Zoom player max.. It looks nice.

Btw Windows Vista and above got it’s own DVD codec

Thanks but i have just installed Zoom player Max (with crack) and it has solved the ‘issue’.
