[Solved] Can’t Connect to Wi-Fi Network!

August 5th, 2016

Not so long ago, I could connect to my Wi-Fi network on my laptop and iPod Touch flawlessly. Just recently, i couldn’t connect to it. I typed in the right password and everything but it still couldn’t connect. Sometimes I wouldn’t even be able to see the network. I’ve tried resetting the router but that was useless. The router i have is the ASUS WL-520GU. Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Answer #1
Maybe the Wireless MAC filter got reset?
WEP key changed
Password changed?
Answer #2
Try all the network parts in a different position and check no new electrical equipment is near the router
Answer #3
It could be that the router itself is damaged. A surge in electricity toasted the router.
Answer #4
Sounds like the router is broken to me too dude.
Answer #5
I’m pretty sure all of the above are not the problem.

It’s possible that it could be, so it’s better to do the small tests first, rather than just replacing it.

So your router is working fine. Then one day you try to connect to it with two devices and neither of them work. How can you be pretty sure that your device isnt broken?

I’ve tested it, and I’m sure it isn’t those problems.

Do a factory reset on the router (hold down the reset button), and then set it up again entirely. See if the problem persists, if it does – then your router is broken, period.

Simply resetting the router is just what it does – a reset, restart, whatever you want to call it.
Resetting it to FACTORY DEFAULT is a completely different thing.

To me reset is the little button on the router power on or of is simply reboot
