Slow Rapidshare
August 6th, 2016
I haven’t download anything in RS for a while now but i don’t remember having problems with it.
I don’t believe there has been any difference in speed I also use Premium
It shouldnt have a problem o.O
I still max out with RS.
I have a issue with slow downloading i am a premium account holder (joined 2 days ago) and am olny downloading on average 75kb a second it takes on average over 1 hour 2 download a single tv episode, my neighbour is also a premium account holder and can download the same episode in 6 minuites, we are both running at 8meg speed but with different providers, but am not sure this would make a difference
What download manager are you using?
i max out with comcast, really slow with att high speed. not sure if there is any obfuscation in place…rapidshare are just http downloads….
It’s not RS cuz if it is, everyone would have got the issue. I think you should contact your ISP about it
how will that call go?
I doubt the problem is with the ISP if you are able to get max speed from other download services.
If your neighbour is always getting a much higher speed than yourself, it’s not to do with your location either.
It guess it won’t do any harm to contact RS support about the problem.
i get 500+ on torrents, 100 and down on RS
thats KB/s
I only access RS as a free user and frequently get 300+
Is there a possibility that you are trying to download at the same time as some of you bandwidth is being used for some other purpose?
Software update, online game, whatever ?
You can also try this.
Try setting Closest Download Server Systems in your RS account. That way you will be able to get your files from a Closest Mirror available to you allowing you Max your thing.
Download speeds depends on various factors not just an individual factor (like latency, location etc)
hier is ok
downloading with 8MB/sec
my download manager is z, sorry if this is incorrect, i have no other programmes running or nothing updating, the other curious thing my neighbour said is that my green status bar is more or less a flatline while hers peeks and troughs
