Simple questions

I have a laptop whose McAfee antivirus just expired, now i need to download one off of Warez-bb and use it.
1)Which antivirus is the best for my Dell inspiron 1545, with Windows Vista, 4GB ram.
2)Do i have to format my C drive before installing antivirus? Please explain whether after formatting i should install the anti-virus.
3)I have hiren’s boot CD will that simplify this process?

The most user-friendly anti-virus, which it sounds like you might need (No offence) is Microsoft Security Essentials..
If you want a paid more feature full anti-virus try kaspersky or eset nod 32…

to uninstall any other antiviruses in your computer
before installing microsoft security essentials

I agree with shifty27,Microsoft security essentials would be a good choice,But do keep in mind that no anti-virus
can provide 100% protection and due to this reason it’s very important to have a secondary layer of defense (and by that
I mean a firewall),Windows own FW is a joke and not worth using,Comodo is the best,Also,Additional measures of defense
include common sense (only download from topics that have lots of replies of example) and avoiding Internet Explorer,Better
use Firefox or Chrome as these are are much more secure,IE has way too many vulnerabilities,Surely these are patched every
now and then,But you can’t always keep up,In contrast,There are no special security patches for Firefox & Chrome,They just
release new versions to fix em (and it get’s automatically updated on your PC)
