Setting a web hosting service up!

I am wanting to set up a web hosting service to generate some dough. I would not mind giving someone 10 gigs of ftp space for information on setting up a successful server. If anyone can help would be very appreciated! ipwnfast@gmail.com
I am even paying someone money to create a simple website!

this sort of service is very expensive to run because you need
-lots of electricity
-fast, enterprise grade hardware
-enterprise grade network connection
the only reason people can make money off it is they have large facilitys with lots of hardware (stuff gets proportionaly cheeper as you buy more)
Its not realy possible to run a web hosting buisness (hosting your own site maybe) on a residential connection because the speeds and pings are too low (hence the site is realy slow)
lots of computers = lots of electricity
google spends billions (yes BILLIONS) of dollars yearly just to supply their servers with electrcity (they have a lot of servers)
Summary: unless youve got a few hundred thousand dollars lying spare (and i guess if you are trying to do this you dont) this is going to be hard, especialy given that banks are a lot less willing to lend money to people than they used to be
