Runtime Error 339

I have not used for many years these CD’s
It is British Isles Vital Records Index created by the Morman Church THey are family history search CD’s
Anyway I installed it to Windows 7 Viewer 4
Then ran next CD that did and update patch Now run program as it starts it comes up error 339 saying files missing After doing search on net says run in all sorts of complicated Virtual PC do this do that Ruddy hell what a pain Is there not just do an update to as I think it is linked to Visual basic Do an update to basic in 7 to make it run
I have sent email to the latta day saints help desk waiting for answer that was a week ago maybe email address no good anymore as was 1989 got these disk’s
I have search all over but no quick easy fix

can you tell me the name of the file that you have missing.
can you post screen shot of runtime error?
Give Compatibility Mode a go
If nothing else works, try setting up a virtual machine with an older OS and see if you have any better luck. It is a bit of trouble but it all comes down to how bad you want to get it working!
