Recovering 5g Ipod

I recently had my ipod formated (still don’t know why it did that) and yesterday, I recovered the songs on my ipod using PCMesh Data Recovery and Wipe and now there is 30.5 GB of music on my hard drive. It looks all good and the songs play all well except that 90% of them have lost their IDE tags and are named by their default names like $FHDK.mp3. So….
If you know what to do to recover my IDE tags, it would be greatly appreciated
dunno how much luck you’ll have there mate… if the IDE tags are gone, you’ll have to go through and rename every single song, which by the sounds of it, will take a long time…. havnt you got the original copy of the MP3s you put on the ipod???
Yeah just delete them from your iPod and put the originals back on, cause you cant recover the IDE tags.
