Question about flying plane can I bring.

Can I bring my laptop on the plane? Can I bring like 3 dvds that were empty but copied that have download version of microsoft office 2013, windows 8, windows 7 64 bit. Can I also bring an external HDD in a suitcase without it being stolen?
I haven’t flown in a plane since I was a kid and google doesn’t help much since the answers were from 2012.

If you can fit it under the seat in front of you then you can bring it on a plane. Also allowed an extra personal item (laptop could pass at that probably. Probably wont be stolen but I would put it inside the carry-on you are bringing (backpack or something).

Hmm I read the tsa website and says same thing so that means I put it in the same bag with my shirts and pants a like except organized right?

You need to check with your airline.
They generally all allow at least 1 carry on bag, which you can put your laptop in. Then after you take off, and get to altitude, they will announce that you can turn electronic devices on. You will have to shut them all down before landing also. This includes any music players, phones, tables, etc.
If you leave your phone/music player’s out of sight (like in your pocket), they cant know your headphones are hooked into them, or that their on. International flights may be a little different.

When I flew from Germany to the UK I could bring my laptop but the security personal asked me if I have any electronical devices with me. I dunno if they checked it manually or put it through the x-ray scanner like my other stuff.
