Possible to install Win7?

Guys, my uncle has a old laptop, it’s 2 years i think..
it’s an Acer Aspire 1642 wlmi
It has 60 gb HDD and 512 DDR Can I install Win7 on it and will it work smootly? Would he have any kind of problems?

It’s possible, but with only 512mb of RAM. It won’t run too good.

Nah, upgrade the ram to a MINIMUM of 1GB or stay with XP

Yes mate, i’d stick with XP or upgrade your ram mate.
Also, the installation would take a reasonable chunk out of your hard drive space.
