Please tell me what these letters mean

A sort of new description is being posted for movies now and I cannot find a definition for it. What does HDTC stand for. HDTV is easy to understand but can’t find anything on HDTC. Thanks

Thank you for responding though that page doesn’t seem too clear on what the letters actually represent. Possibly High Definition Television Console? It might be when posters use the term HDTC, it is still just a downloaded TV movie.

They normally refer to them as a HDTC if it’s a high quality CAM, iirc.

Nothing really specific on it in Google..
I guess someone made it up cos it sounds better than a Cam job!

It wasn’t made up but real TC’s are rare because of the equipment needed. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TelecineThe use of TC equipment has declined since the film industry started using digital cameras.
