firstly thank u for taking time to look at this thread,and secondly a few weeks back i had a few documents that i deleted that were in “.txt format” i deleted them to recycle bin then emptyed recycle bin “not thinking that id still need the documents now” anyway ive tryed all kinds of data recovery progs and yet none of them have been sucessfull..just wondering if there is a data recovery tool that just recovers .txt format only or am i dreaming
so if anyone could please help me out id be in great gratitude

Try Recuva.
Trouble is that if you have saved anything since it may well have overwritten the stuff you are trying to recover. 
You could try GetDataBack also.
