i would recommend you to read on nokia’s website.. a friend of mine had the same problem when trying to find a gps signal, so we checked the nokia website and cleared the problem

Just stand outside and give it a few mins. i thought i was having problems with mine and then it worked.

You gota be patient when searching for satellite/gps signal(and only works outdoors)..! One time it took more than five minutes to get a signal…

Yep- i can confirm that, i was going to send mine to the nokia repair centres but it worked when i stood in the open air for a bit….

funny thing is mine wuldnt work again. i was also having problems with the battery running out to fast. then i rang up o2 and complained and it after that it started working fine. strange phone.

i have n95 too and yesterday i downloaded the maploader from the official site of nokia,its free, i connected the n95 to pc and i start the maploader, after that you can download for free the maps and the voice guidance. try it

new update is soon to be released. and also i would advise you download a country or a few not the entire Europe map – Storage becomes a problem
