cbr/cbz:
container archive files rar and zip (you should be able to work out which is which) that have jpg or png graphic files in them. These are the pages of a comic.

I don’t know about calibre, but the files can be opened in winrar, and they have just normal jpg/png files in them.

Thank you Fluffbutt.
Answer #4
You should be able to just extract them to a folder on the kindle (does it do folders?), and have it display the jpg files as pictures.
You’ll need to zoom in to read them though, maybe a proper graphic viewer is available for kindle? does it have apps?
Answer #5
Comic Archive files, they’re popular with Manga and various comic releases and can be viewed with various programs and devices.
