My movie is flashing colours

ok so i just downloaded this BRrip and everyone is leaving comments saying it is perfect quality, bt when i opened mine and skimmed the whole way through the movie a coloured thing which looks like a computer chip flashing on my movie screen the whole time, can anyone help???

What type of moniter & graphics card are you on?

Have you tried another player?
I recommend vlc or zoomplayer.
