Is unlocking an Iphone easy?

Basically i have a sim card that is with Mobile 3 company… i am thinking off buying an iphone but i want to know if its easy to unlock it so my sim will work in it?
(i am just gonna buy it from apple)

I’m pretty sure you can’t buy iPhones outright from Apple.
If you decide to buy one from eBay or Craigslist, chances are it’ll already be unlocked (and probably extremely expensive), however if it’s not it is extremely simple to jailbreak and subsequently unlock.
