Is LEAGOO a good brand for cell phones? Want to buy this on

February 2nd, 2020

Hey,
I’m like few that don’t got a iphone or smartphone or ipod in my possession.
I have no crucial need for it but understand why so many have it.
It makes live easier. I have given it some thoughts and figured it is time to get one for myself.
However I don’t need such a fancy one that costs 300 euros.
I just need a thing that works and is decent. So I browsed some and found:

Before you say that site is not trustful… I already bought a lamp and am using it right now in my home and it works great.
But is this a good brand? Is it something that works? Any exp with this or know any place that knows the answer to my question?
I don’t want to buy this if I’m not sure of its quality.

Answer #1
I wouldn’t really go for a brand no one has really heard of, maybe you could try a cheap Samsung Galaxy or an iPhone 4. Or go into some stores where you can play around on the phones on display, see which one you like and buy it cheaper online (shops are pretty expensive)
Answer #2
You can find way better than this check etotalk.
Answer #3
I’d grab that Leagoo if that’s what you want..
Would have maybe bought it myself had I seen it ,but I only really checked out eBay..
and ended up getting a 7″ phablet for $99….Hasn’t even got a brand name!
Still it has the latest Android version and has all the features.
The Leagoo seems to have quite reasonable specs.
Not many reviews yet, but those it has are good
You might also want to check out the other models there like the L3.
It gives you a quad core CPU and the latest Android version.
It mentioned an IPS screen, so I checked elsewhere to confirm..

That should give a decent viewing angle which is something that mine don’t really have!
And then there is the Lead 2 with all of the above and 1GB of ram…

RAM is a big bottleneck 512mb are not going to cut it for Android 4 even with the lightest launcher. Prepare for a lot of unresponsiveness, OP.

Thanks for the input guys. @ thank you for that info.
@ I’ll keep that one in mind. It looks very appealing.
@Jack good idea to look on that site. Found some very neat products but don’t know which one is the best for me personally.
I would prefer FREE shipping to Belgium and a phone that runs smooth and is handy to have in your pocket when you are on foot in a city. in short: A good replacement for the pc when you are not at home.
For example is this a good one to get and it seems to have free shipping:

I’d prefer to buy one below or around 100 because the extras cost some money to and before you know it you end up with a way higher amount then you initially thought to be okay with to buy a phone for. That site is really designed in a way that you want to buy more then what you need lol. I’m quite unfamiliar with this whole process. I got no exp so to speak in what is useful to buy with the product and what brand is best or OS.
I’m from a PC generation to be honest and still consider the pc superior to any smartphone or tablet. However I think having a newer phone won’t hurt.
I could use some more input from you guys on what to get from that site etotalk, or any other site that is good and has free shipping and isn’t to pricey). Also general tips and practices on using iphone or whatever are most welcome. What to look out for and how to prepare for situations like battery dying out on you and having no extra? Or your phone getting hacked…
I’d hate to jump in the consumption tradition of buying a phone sooner then you need one. I don’t need the newest of the newest every year like some folk lol…
I’d like to make a good investment if I’d be really honest. A product that lasts 5 years or so.
Also what about windows phones? Are they any good? Also some random ramble on the subject:
Some are clueless as to what happens with all those used phones… They are send to China or Africa along with laptops, pc’s and tv’s that still work but people trow away anyway to be disassembled in small bits in China or elsewhere in bad conditions. Huge junk piles are caused by this habit of trowing away something that still works to get the new thing. Not good for the environment.

You can get a Nokia Lumia 620 or Sony Xperia E1 for under £80.

I suppose not… Got any product page for this cheaper Nokia you can link me to that has free shipping to Belgium?
Answer #10
Haven’t you mentioned that you need it as a desktop replacement and want convenience? If so, you have to pick an android phone and trust me, you’ll use several apps for sure. A nokia would be a terrible choice you just throw your money away and Windows Phone OS is horrible. Some of the extras (for some people all of them) are needed and you will get them eventually, but if you get them bundled you get them for less so if you know what you want, etotalk is in fact cheaper. I have bought from this site personally and was completely satisfied. You have to decide what you want though. If you are not going to use social media or some office or media apps then just keep a regular (not smart) phone.

dx is legit, the phone is a few years behind though, bare minimum in my mind is quad core with 1gig @1.2 ghz or so.. anything less and it will smell… huawei is the only brand that I actually know of on dx that get decent enough reviews… if you look at the banner of the page though… “christmas is coming” hehe.. chinese websites sometimes have amazing xmas deals if you don’t mind the item not arriving till after xmas
Other chinese sites that I have used / people have recommended are fasttech, hopebuy, pandawill, willgoo, and geekbuying .. I’m a sucker for cheap chinese gadgets .. no guarantees for any of these though, including dx hehe.. gotsa love a gamble
Edit: oh, and for phones you have to make sure they support the same bandwidths / whatever that networks in belgium use..
http://www.gsmarena.com/network-bands.php3?sCountry=BELGIUM
Edit2: not being snobby with those min specs.. just as a pc geek android was completely underpowered and incapable of anything I class as usefull
