Ipod Touch question

I was wondering if it was possible, say I bought movie tickets from fandango and on every ticket, it has a bar code on them. I was wondering instead of ” printing ” out the ticket save paper, I could just show them the image of the bar code on my iPod touch and possibly they could scan it through there?

You should be able to, though it might need to be a good quality image, OR you could ask them if you could
