Ipad 1 trouble

Hey guys, i’ve had an ipad1 for a while now, but it doesn’t seem to be able to restore, i’ve tried everything. Removed and reinstalled itunes, disabled my firewall, and still nothing. i keep getting error code 9 which says its a usb problem, but i don’t know why my ipod shuffle restores fine. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Describe what exactly you want to do! What FW you use for restore etc…

i just want it to work, currently downloaded 5.0.1 firmware. haven’t been able to restore with anything.

Go in DFU MODE
Run iTunes and do SHIFT+Restore
Add 5.0.1 IPSW
and it will restore…

Make sure your using latest itunes, and update to latest fw, and it sould work like woot said.
