Internet download manager downloads the file in parts and store it in temporary location you’ve specified in its settings. When it shows 100%, it indicated that you’ve downloaded whole file, but when it shows 100% Complete, it indicates that file is downloaded 100% and joined successfully to get actual file. So if you’ve deleted the temporary files in the middle of downloading, it might have lost some parts causing it NOT to join the file and completing the task. You need to set the Temporary directory to somewhere else other than obvious locations. Try downloading a small file after that and see if it works. I’m not sure if its the correct solution, but you should probably try and see if it works. Its best anyways to change the directory location.

If you are a premium user use Rapidshare Manager and if not then use Jdownloader…. Father of all file hosting services….

IDM is just having problems with rapidshare these days from what I keep seeing in helpdesk. Like , I would recommend giving JDownoader a shot. It works like a dream on all the host sites and is free.
