Inserting an image into my post

Hi,
I im trying to insert an image into my post or a cd cover from imageshack,
i have the image uploaded to imageshack but when i copy the code from the section that says “Forum” my image will not show up , it will however show up, if i copy and use the code from “Direct” is that ok to use or will my posts get deleted?
if i use the code from the “forum” link all i get when i submit my topic is a load of code writing with no image…

where am i going wrong?? or is using the link from the “Direct” part ok?

Here is the way to do it :
[img]Link[/img]
And btw you need a direct link.. Your link redirects to imageshack..

You have to have the ending bracket after the image’s URL, not after the ‘uploaded with ….’.
Should look like:
[img]http://img16.imageshack.us/img16/974/ppfront.jpg[/img]

the only thing is on imageshack it has a “forum” code saying for use in forums etc…when i use the “forums” link i get the code from my 1st post with no image when i submit my post, but on other forums i have to use the “forum” code from imageshack for the image to show up in my post??

Don’t use the forum code, use the direct link the way you used in your thread. Please don’t forget to code your links, I’ve coded them for you in this thread.
