ImageDisk or ImagePartition restore 2 other PC resulted BSOD
November 1st, 2013
Pls. help I would really love to know if there’s any other methods you know
Thanks in advance ^_^
Maybe the other PC have different hardware and that’s what triggers the BSOD…
yeah I was thinking about it lately, sir.. how about if I unplug the hardware first and b4 restoring the image? Since I only have windows XP with some other useful programs like VLC with no other hardware driver installed on it..btw Im using hiren’s bootCD under miniXP..
Well you can do that if you know which hardware is causing it…Most of the time using a backup in other system will work..But sometimes when the chipsets are the same and that’s something you can’t remove..
The only way to prevent BSOD is to create a backup just after installing and no drivers installed..

I tried fresh new installed XP and back it up and restored to other PC successfully but some PC failed though.. I agree there must be something wrong on the hardware part most especially on chipset stuff Thank u sir for great advice ..I will definitely try it on the morning since its late at night here…
There is an option to do this on Acronis True Image Home, however I certainly wouldn’t use it as there is probably too much difference in hardware setups that will just cause BSOD’s.
