I can’t find a replacement motherboard! Please help!

September 26th, 2013

Hello all,
I think my mother board is dead and I’m trying to find a new one but am having trouble finding somewhere that sells them. The motherboard is a Gigabyte ga-ma790gp-ds4h http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=2887#ov
Can anyone help me with finding one??
Thanks,
Jake

What’s the problem here,Seriously? You don’t have to get the exact same motherboard nor one that’s based on the same chipset,It just has to be of the same socket and of course support your particular CPU (checking the CPU support list on the manufacturer’s site before purchasing is highly recommended)
Edit: On a second thought,You might be jumping the gun too fast here,What’s the exact problem? You should not get a replacement motherboard unless your 100% sure it’s at fault,And from what I can tell,You aren’t.

Your particular motherboard uses DDR2 memory, you must take care when asking for a new one, because you may not find a new one using DDR2 but DDR3.
Are you saying you need a mainboard that supports DDR2? ¿Which is your CPU?
